Punctuality is a vital personal trait and a key aspect of our school’s discipline. Late arrivals can disrupt classes and hinder students from fully engaging in valuable lessons. We aims to establish the following Student Arrival Policy to promote timely attendance, effective immediately:

  1. Arrival Time: Students must arrive at school by 7:45 AM.
  2. Gate Closure: The school gate will close 10 minutes after 7:45 AM, at 7:55 AM.
  3. Late Arrival Protocol: From 7:55 AM to 8:05 AM, latecomers must wait in the reception area to be recorded in the office register. Class Teachers will also note the late arrival in the attendance register.
  4. Late Entry Restrictions: Students arriving 20 minutes late or more (after 8:05 AM) will not be allowed entry to the school for the day and will be marked as absent. Therefore, do not send your child to school after 8:05 AM. This policy applies to all students from PG to Class 10.
  5. Emergency Situations: In cases of emergencies that may cause late arrival, parents must call the school office in advance to inform them.
  6. Exceptional Cases: For exceptional temporary cases, parents must obtain prior permission from the school authority by submitting a formal application with supporting evidence at least one day before the expected late arrival.
  7. Unacceptable Reasons: Reasons such as waking up late, parents being late, relatives visiting, or attending parties the night before will not be accepted as valid excuses for tardiness.
  8. Traffic Considerations: Excessive traffic will not be accepted as a valid reason for being late. Parents and students are encouraged to leave home early to account for potential traffic delays.
  9. Open Communication: Parents are encouraged to discuss any issues related to punctuality with school administration or higher authorities to ensure appropriate support and solutions are provided.
