Dr. Mohammad Shamsu Uddin is a distinguished academic, researcher, and education leader with extensive experience in Finance, Big Data Analytics, and Machine Learning applications in financial systems. As the Chairman of Ibn Khaldun Academy, he is committed to nurturing academic excellence, moral values, and holistic education in an Islamic English medium environment.
He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Business and Technology Management at Islamic University of Technology. He earned his PhD from Dalian University of Technology and completed his MBA in Finance with distinction from University of Chittagong.
Throughout his career, he has contributed to higher education through teaching, research supervision, curriculum development, and academic leadership, while authoring more than 30 academic journal articles in the fields of finance, analytics, and quantitative research methods. During his professional career at IUT, he served in several important academic and administrative roles, including Assistant Provost and Program Coordinator.
He also contributed to syllabus moderation, academic quality assurance, student development activities, and institutional academic management. With a strong commitment to knowledge, ethics, and character building, Dr. Mohammad Shamsu Uddin continues to guide Ibn Khaldun Academy toward providing a balanced education that combines modern academic excellence with Islamic values and moral leadership.
