Prof. Dr. A. H. M. Saifullah Sadi is a distinguished academic, researcher, and higher education administrator with more than two decades of international experience in information technology, software engineering, cybersecurity, and information systems. He currently serves as Professor and Director of the M.Sc. in Cyber Security Program in the Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of Science and Information Technology.
He earned his Ph.D. in Information Technology and MBA in Management Information Systems from the International Islamic University Malaysia and his B.Sc. (Hons) in Computing & Information Systems from the University of Lincoln, UK. Throughout his career, he has held numerous academic leadership positions in Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Malaysia, including Associate Dean, Department Chairman, Program Coordinator, Director of IT, and Quality Assurance Coordinator.
An accomplished scholar, Prof. Sadi has published extensively in internationally reputed SCIE, Scopus, and IEEE-indexed journals, authored academic books, and presented research at leading international conferences in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, mobile commerce, information systems, and software engineering.
He also holds multiple globally recognized professional certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, IBM, SAP, and the Linux Professional Institute, reflecting his strong industry expertise alongside his academic achievements.
In addition to his teaching and research contributions, he has served as a keynote speaker, accreditation evaluator, Outcome-Based Education (OBE) trainer, and academic quality assurance expert, demonstrating an enduring commitment to excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and institutional development.
